Terms of Service

Welcome to IDAM. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the IDAM application and the website idam.app (together, the “Service”), operated by IDAM. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use IDAM.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create — your pinned places (“idams”), trips, photos, videos, blogs, itineraries, and profile details. By posting content you grant IDAM a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, and display that content solely to operate the Service and show it to the audiences you choose (public, followers, or private).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful, infringing, harassing, or harmful content; no impersonation; no scraping or automated abuse; and no attempts to break the Service’s security or other users’ privacy. You are responsible for the accuracy of locations you pin.

4. Visibility & sharing

You control the visibility of each idam and trip. Public content may be discoverable by anyone via Explore, the world globe, and your shareable profile link (idam.app/username). Followers-only content is visible to approved followers; private content is visible only to you.

5. Maps & third-party data

Map imagery and geocoding are provided by third parties, including OpenStreetMap, OpenFreeMap, and others. Your use of those features is also subject to their respective terms and attributions.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is processed as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IDAM is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
